An application to join red{jamaican lager}

Dear Mike,
I'd like to join redstripe for so many reasons. I'd like to be part of something completely new and web based. I love the idea of "doing it for the kids" erm perhaps. I read so much lately about how to make software correctly and we can't quite get that right in Digital Media just now but we are making tracks. I am a complete web geek and although I think web2.0 is a marketing pile of rubbish. I love social software, the very idea of it. I think the technologies, although they already existed before the web2.0 bubble have been given fresh breath. Javascript is cool again! I think I can offer creativity, honest hard graft and the best hands on technical skills you are likely to get in the group at least until Mick joins next week. Techies who can actually communicate with non-techies are rare and should be cherished. I believe I'm one of these people. I'm slightly dissapointed to be honest with my application. It's a lame blog partly hidden with some flashy javascript as you'll see. I care about getting things right. I want to build something brand new. I want to be a part of this because I think we can make something that could possibly make the newspaper second in value to the group. And you know what, if we fail, I'd like the practices we use in building the product and I don't just mean technically, to be brought back into the group as lessons we can learn. I can't see any possibility of failure on the investment from the groups point of view if we figure out better methods for running businesses. Although I'm sure they'll have a different opinion.
Pick me, we'll win.
Stew
To show I am ready to progress to redstripe, the top links for the other articles should do voodoo. However I know that browsers don't always behave with armchair coding so the usable links are also there. I severely hope you don't have to click them.
When we get big, can we buy google?
I may add more ideas...
